Mirabror Usmanov claims Uzbekistan can host Juniors’ World Cup

Uzbekistan Football Federation President Mirabror Usmanov in his interview on the Sport TV channel stated that Uzbekistan is ready to host FIFA’s U-17 World Cup.

"We applied to host in Tashkent FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017. Also Asian Cup 2015 is to take place in Australia. We may host one of the next continental tournaments here in Uzbekistan. I also would like to state, that Uzbekistan is now able to host FIFA U-17 World Cup,” said Usmanov.
