Uzbekistan Cup. Bunyodkor vs Lokomotiv 2-2

Lokomotiv fully dominated in the first half. Defending champions were 2-0 behind before the break. Holmatov brilliantly performed the free kick in the 11th minute. In the 20th minute the through ball found Sadriddin Abdullaev and the experienced midfielder advanced past Nesterov on a short dribble and netted home to double the advance.

Lokomotiv had more chances in the second half as well. However Bunyodkor has managed to come back with aplomb through the efforts of Igor Taran, who scored in style with bicycle kick and Oleg Zoteev’s equalizer.

The second leg is scheduled on August 22, at Lokomotiv Stadium in Tashkent with the winner to meet Nasaf vs Pakhtakor winner in the final.
