Verratti extends PSG contract until 2018
Marco Verratti has finally agreed to an extension with PSG until 30 June 2018, after his agents have been sounding out a number of clubs during the summer, according to an announcement from agent Donato Di Campli on Twitter.
"We have reached an agreement with PSG. Marco Verratti will stay till 2018 and the contract will be signed once the player gets back from Gabon", Di Campli wrote.
Verratti's name had been mentioned in connection with clubs such as Real Madrid, Juventus, Fiorentina and Napoli. though Aurelio De Laurentiis, president of Napoli, recently stated that all this was just "a strategy" by the player's agents "to get him an increase in salary".
