Mirdjalal Kasimov: «I think it will be a different game»

Since being held to a goalless draw at home by Hong Kong at the start of the campaign before losing the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan have posted back-to-back wins over Vietnam to move into second place in Group E.

And having arrived in Hong Kong in a confident mood following Friday’s 3-0 win in Hanoi, Uzbekistan know a third consecutive win in Group E will secure qualification to Australia 2015 alongside the UAE with a game to spare having established a three point cushion over the home side.

“Our condition is very good and we are in a very good mood after we beat Vietnam and we want to win as we couldn’t beat Hong Kong in Tashkent. The whole team is ready to win and qualify for the Asian Cup. We are ready and we will play better than did against Vietnam,” said Kasimov.

“Hong Kong defended well in Tashkent, but you have to understand it is easy to defend as a team and destroy what the opponent tries to do.

“This time, Hong Kong will be at home and they also have to attack as they also want to qualify so I think it will be a different game.”
